Change to Fred Allen Cup : Please be advised that Labor Day Regatta for OTB's as published in the printed program is incorrect and will not be occuring.
Please be advised that the Fred Allen Cup on 14th and 21st March will now be Aggregates.
NOTICES TO COMPETITORS
The SSCBC is trialling changes to promote improvements to racing fairness and safety.
The race & protest committees intend to protest boats for breaches of instructions or rules it observes, other than rules in part 2.
These protests will be held in the protest room 5 minutes after the expiry of protest time unless otherwise notified.
7.4 of the Sailing Instructions is replaced with.
7.4 Boats not returning directly to shore shall sign off by other means such as contact with “Sorrento” on VHF Ch 73 or telephone 03 5984 8207 as soon as possible and no later than 1 hour after finishing.
The following instruction is added to the Sailing Instructions.
20.4 The protest committee may impose a scoring penalty such as that in Rule 44.3 (c) when a boat has breached a rule, other than a rule in Part 2.
Change to the Club Program
The AIM Couta Boat Race on 27th February 2010 will be an Aggregate Race.
