Jetty Refurbishment

Jetty Refurbishment

From Monday 12 September, the jetty will be closed for maintenance work to replace some ageing pylons.

CURRENT STATUS

From the 22nd of October, the right-hand (eastern) landing of the jetty up to the flinders mooring is open on weekends. Please do not tie boats up to the jetty and do not try to access other parts of the jetty.

During weekdays the jetty will stay closed.

The expectation is that works will be completed by late October, factoring in delays due to bad weather.

Working will be completed in sections, once the area closest to shore is completed, the inshore portion of the jetty will be made generally accessible to members and the wider public – however it may be closed off for short periods of time.

There are very few moored member boats in the water during this time of the year and access to them is usually limited to weekends, so disruption should be minimal. If there is an essential need to access a boat during the week when the jetty is closed, please contact the Sailing Team ([email protected]).

We’ll keep you updated here and in eTidings as we progress and thank you for your co-operation and support.
