This week our host Mark Klemens catches up with researcher and writer Tricia O’Brien about her work with the Couta Boat Association creating a coffee table book documenting Couta boat history. Following on from that, Tom Trotman joins the show talking about learning to sail at SSCBC when he was 8 years old through to now in his mid twenties working as a sailing coach and his time sailing WASZPs. To finish the episode, Mark has an interesting conversation with new member Dr Matthew Jones, who sails Couta boat Waltzing Matilda, about his paediatric work and his current work in the Army Reserve overseeing 170 army and navy personnel deployed to assist in the corona virus response.
