Marine License Course combined with practical duck driving lessons for women.
This is Marine License course and test which teaches the theory aspects required to obtain a Marine License at Vic Roads coupled with tailored practical sessions on the water to operate the clubs tiller steer ducks.
Ben Fels and Kate Hannah will lead participants though all of the practical aspects of operating the club’s ducks. At the conclusion of the course, participants will be knowledgeable, competent and confident to:
- Complete the pre-start checks for a club duck;
- Start and operate a club duck;
- Depart from and and return to the jetty;
- Drive a duck through the moorings; and
- Approach and come alongside a moored boat.
Participants can choose which on water session they wish to complete:
Block A1:15- 2:45 or Block B 3:00 to 3:30
