SSCBC successfully wins high profile events for 2018: Victorian Youths Championship and 9er and 420 Victorian State Championships

SSCBC has successfully won both bids to host the 9er and 420 Victorian State Championships in March 2018 and the Victorian Youth Championships in April 2018.

We have also won the bid to host the Australian Youth Championships in January 2020.

SSCBC Club Captain, Scott Llewelyn said that not only is it a great reward for our Club but it also recognises the previous work of our experienced and professional race management teams, volunteers and staff which has provided us with a reputation of delivering outstanding racing and both on and off water management.  Following on from a great weekend of racing last year the 9er and 420 Victorian State Championships will return for the second year running and the Victorian Youths Championship return to SSCBC after 4 years which has seen them travel to various locations providing an opportunity for sailors to experience sailing in different locations.

Our Official Noticeboard for each regatta provides online registration, event details, notice of race, sailing instructions and local information links.

Regatta Noticeboards for each event are below:

9er and 420 Victorian State Championships, March 2018

Victorian Youths Championship, April 2018

If you would like to join our on and off water teams to volunteer at these regattas please don’t hesitate to contact SSCBC Sailing Operations Manager, Adam Hawkins or call past the office.  We would love to have you involved and it is a great opportunity to meet fellow club members.
