The Gill Next Gen Couta Race will take place on Saturday 19 January 2019. This is a highlight in the calendar for our young adult Members of the Club and an opportunity for them to take the helm and show the regular skippers and crew how it’s done!
SSCBC and the Couta Boat Association are asking for your help.
If you are a Couta boat owner (or speak for one), can you please email David ([email protected]) to indicate your boat is available and how many crew you would like us to organise for you. At least 3 crew members must be 35 or under, or 2 crew members 25 or under, and the helmsman must be one of these crew to be eligible to win the race.
We need help running the event, so if you would like to be part of The Gill Next Gen Organising Committee, please get in touch with David. Jobs to be done include matching crews with boats, after sailing entertainment and other fun tasks. No sailing experience is required and we encourage anyone to step forward.
