Berwick Motor Group CBA National Championships

Day 1 of the Berwick Motor Group National Championships was a little breezy. It was possible to just get one race in as there was so much racing so close to the top of the wind range.

Day 2 was sailed in variable shifty conditions with the breeze going up and down during and between races, but the Race Committee volunteers and staff did a great job to get the racing in.

A big thank you to Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron for working with us to got both their Petersville and our Nationals done, and avoid crossing the fleets – thank you.

On water umpiring was once again useful, with many boats taking voluntary turns in the umpire’s vicinity. Great to see.

It’s all a bit funny with the COVID-19 regulations, but the presentation worked out the back of the Jeep at Lavender Hill. Thank you to Nick Strauss and Ken Richards from Berwick Motor Group for their support, and for proudly presenting the winners with magnums of Yabby Lake wine!
