A classic circa 2000 26’6″ couta boat, Mary Bell is now offered for sale, by tender.
Constructed from Huon Pine, Mary Bell is a fine example of the modern couta boat, powered by a 3 cylinder Yanmar diesel engine. She has been well maintained with annual painting, antifouling and engine servicing. She comes with a full complement of sails ready to race.
Mary Bell would be an ideal boat for those new to the couta boat fleet, or for those wishing to upgrade to a competitive boat.

HISTORY:
Mary Bell was built in 2000 at the Wooden Boat Shop in Sorrento, Victoria. She was commissioned by Max Beck. Timbers used were Huon Pine and Celery Top with the primary focus of the boat being one for social competition rather than serious racing. She is moored at Sorrento Sailing Couta Boat Club and is used as a recreational craft. Mary Bell has an excellent race record, and has had many top 5 finishes.
