Head Chef Announcement

We are very pleased to announce the Club has appointed a Head Chef – Bernard McCarthy.

Bernard comes to the Club with a wealth of experience and talent spanning almost 30 years in the industry. Many Members will have experienced Bernard’s incredible cooking at the award-winning Salix at Willow Creek, Barn & Co and Bistro Maison, all based on the Mornington Peninsula. Bernard is well respected across the industry and we feel very fortunate to now have him as an integral part of our Food & Beverage team.

Food & Beverage Manager, Henry Dyer is thrilled to welcome Bernard and can’t wait for him to commence in the coming weeks. “We’ve got the best chef on the peninsula, we really have” says Henry. The Club can’t wait to see what’s in store for this season and beyond.

Bernard’s vast knowledge of Mornington Peninsula produce and suppliers, his extensive experience in running large restaurants and his passion for fresh, family friendly dining, will meet the needs of our Club environment. “I am extremely pleased that we have appointed another key member of our Food & Beverage team to ultimately provide our Members with a quality food & beverage experience at the Club. I am sure Bernard will be an integral part of this experience” says Philip Hall, General Manager. Henry and Bernard are already working on new menus to cater for every aspect of our Food & Beverage offering, so watch this space.
