Important Notice To Members Regarding Lloyd Group
Dear Members,
Earlier today, Friday 31 March 2023, we were notified that Lloyd Group has appointed Deloitte as administrator. This has now been confirmed in multiple press reports.
Fortunately, the Clubhouse redevelopment project is close to complete. That said, the Lloyd insolvency event is disruptive and has the potential to delay final completion.
The potential outcomes will become clearer in the near term as the administrators assess the financial and operational situation and communicate with all stakeholders, however, at this stage we believe our exposure risk is low.
Our Infrastructure Committee, the General Committee and finance team are closely monitoring the situation and we will update Members once the precise circumstances and path forward are clearer, including the pathway to completing our building works.
