During February 2019 your Committee undertook a Member Survey. Intuitive Solutions, experts in membership surveys, conducted the survey and have provided summary findings to the Committee and Management.
581 members, out of 2,445 Members on our email mailing list, completed the survey. A response rate of 24%, which we understand is about normal. The response rate certainly has given your Committee and Management an authoritative response and plenty of action items to follow through.
Overall the satisfaction among Members with aspects of their membership was quite high. The below “Results Scorecard” shows a rating of 7.8 out of 10 for overall satisfaction with SSCBC membership and a majority of Members likely to recommend membership of the Club to others. Similarly, very pleasingly, the ratings of each of our areas of services and activities for Members rated highly.
Along with these overall positive ratings there were many consistent messages from Members where we could lift our game. Your Committee is now considering this feedback and will progressively implement the suggestions. As we work our way through the feedback we will keep Members informed of changes made resulting from the survey.
