STAY TUNED – WE ARE RESCHEDULING
She Sails activities will begin this Wednesday 6 January, and include power boat (rubber truck tender) handling instructions/refresher and a Couta Boat twilight race.
We wish to have as many participants as possible, allowing for women from all abilities to ‘come and have a go’. The events will show all the benefits of boating and sailing in a safe, welcoming environment where participants can meet our strong leaders within the female sailing community.
To start the day, our She Sails task force team will be offering power boat instructions at 8:30am on the club jetty. This is open to all interested female members and is free to participate. The aim is for you to watch, learn and give it a try without fear of being judged.
This will be followed by the Wednesday night She Sails twilight where we encourage all our female members to jump on a sailing boat with a focus on trying a new role (helm, main sheet or foredeck).
