We’ve had lots of volunteers joining the team over our busy summer and so many of them growing in the roles.
Volunteering in sailing is a pathway – it’s a mix of experience, informal training, developing competencies in tasks, learning the different roles that fit together to be the race committee, formal training and self evaluation.
This Saturday, Ben and Peter will deliver the official Australian Sailing Club Race Officer course in the Sailing Tent on Lavender Hill!
