Yabby Lake Couta Boat Race

The New Year’s Day regatta started off with the South Channel Race and boats pushing against a strong ebb tide to go up to Rye before streaming down to Portsea.

Turning back before No 3 off Point King, the South Easterly had filled in, effectively making it a two mile beat home, once again against the tide.

Day two of the regatta and it was a simpler Windward Leeward course in a fresh breeze that was pretty stable. After the previous day, the slightly shorter race was welcomed in the conditions.

Thank you to Yabby Lake for their support, as always.
