Ella is a beautiful 33 foot couta boat built in 2001 by Brett Almond at St Leonards.
Built to survey and constructed of celery top planks and decking on substantial steam bent frames (ribs) and huge full length stringers.
It has an excellent Nanni 50hp engine, re-built in 2013 and is fed by a 40 litre S/S steel fuel tank.
The massive steel centre plate is in top condition and the pivot bolt is sound.
All spars are oregon and in excellent condition. The bowsprit is hardwood (Iroko).
All sails are in excellent condition.
The cuddy cabin has two V berths and a portable toilet. There is a small navigation and communications area.
The cockpit is large and roomy with all lines and controls easily accessible.
Ella is a great sea boat, having sailed to Hobart for the Wooden Boat Festival some years ago. She was also sailed to Paynesville on the Gippsland Lakes where she is currently moored.
The boat has been recently anti fouled and the paintwork spruced up. Brightwork is in very good condition.
Ella is definitely a sail away proposition with nothing to do other than add your own personal touches.
