Description:
Jennifer C70 was built at the Wooden Boat Shop, Sorrento in 1990 by Mark Abbott. Her length is the standard 26’ 6”. She is constructed principally out of Huon Pine.

She was purchased by the current owners in partnership in 2014. Due to one partner relocating to another region, the remaining partner intends to create a syndicate partnership of 4 members: 3 shares are now on offer.

Assets included in the boat are valued at $45,000. The boat is meticulously maintained annually by Corsair Boats in Rosebud. Recent upgrades include: laminated mast, altered plate, lightweight rudder, near new 3 cylinder 20 hp Yanmar motor.

Recent Race Record:
Under the current partners, Jennifer C 70 has had a core crew and been a consistent performer in the SSCBC Couta Boat Fleet. In addition to the Saturday races, she has competed in numerous regattas around Port Phillip.

Podium wins on Handicap for Division 1 in recent years include:
2018: 1st Wooden Boat Shop Series; 1st South Channel race; 3rd Club Agg; 2nd Passage Agg.
2019: 2nd South Channel race; 2nd CBA Portsea Cup; 1st CBA State Championship
2020: 1st Dash to Heads race; 3rd Handicapped CBA Nationals
