Thank you to all the Team Sorrento sailors and their parents and siblings who attended our OTB presentation evening for season 2022-23. What a fantastic evening, the highlight being the Q&A with Tom Trotman, conducted by our Junior Club Captains, Holly and Henri. We heard about Tom’s pathway to where he is today, enjoying huge successes on his Waszp, as well as some of the challenges he has faced along the way. The overwhelming message from Tom was learn from your mistakes, work hard and have fun! What an inspiring role model for our juniors. Thanks for participaing Tom.
The presentation of the awards kicked off with an overview of the season by Club Captain, Tim Collett and Training Manager, David White. Lots of impressive results to celebrate. Congratulations to all sailors and a huge thank you to David White, who is such an inspiring leader and mentor for our juniors. His passion for sailing and helping the kids improve and have a go is incredible to watch, as well as the guidance and time he gives to our amazing team of instructors. Thank you David.
