With restrictions easing, SSCBC is now in a place to get our Members back on the water! The current specific restrictions to note are:
- people in the same household may sail together
- solo sailing is allowed
SSCBC has a fleet of 6 pacer dinghies and 4 quest boats which will be available for Members Saturday and Sunday (7 and 8 November) in two time blocks: 1015-1215hrs and 1230-1430hrs. Please click below to book.
As you will be sailing the boat yourself, you will need basic sailing skills. An instructor will come out with you for the first 15 minutes to show you the boat and make sure you are comfortable in the conditions. A flat $30 fee per boat will apply to help cover costs.
SSCBC will have a safety boat on the water in some capacity, but we would advise reading our free sailing procedure. Click here.
Rental will be subject to weather conditions.
More about the boats:
Pacers: Can be sailed solo (furled jib) or with a crew (or two small kids).
Quests: Quests are larger and heavier dinghies they require a minimum of 2 but can take up to 4.
